    2004 A4 1.8 quattro. 230k …while driving on a highway….100km/hr….December 12 2017..smelt burning smoke…passenger airbag deployed…I pulled over into emergency lane…3 more airbag proppelants went off ..popped…no airbags deployed.
I exited the vehicle which is when I noticed that fire began in the middle console of the vehicle. I have captured all this on video.
Audis response and investigation….claimed that phone charger which wasn’t even charging the phone caused the fire.
Be warned…Audi’s airbags will malfunction …either through spontaneous deployment or non deployment at all….then will combust into a raging fire
